The purpose of this Coaching Assessment is to help you identify your strengths and weaknesses such that it might reveal areas where coaching could help you to clear negative emotions, deal with self-doubt and procrastination, banish bad habits and any problems you may have – and build in a mindset which will help you to step up to the next best version of yourself – in other words building in the millionaire mindset of a high achiever who is always totally energised about taking action towards their goals.
This assessment will help you to determine if you are ready for coaching
Rank your answers on a scale of zero to ten. For example:
- To what degree is alcohol a problem for you?
- What would it be worth to banish those problems?
- What would it be worth to clear the blocks and obstacles?
- What would it be worth to step up to the next best version of yourself and achieve your desired outcomes?
MATERIALS REQUIRED
You will need pen and paper to keep track of your answers. Another option is to type up your responses in a Word Doc.
1. Let’s Start With The Present State
What is your current situation in life, relationships, career and health? Just make a list of the key features – both positive and negative.
2. Now Let’s Take A Look At Your Desired Outcomes
Putting aside thoughts of the present state now start dreaming about the next best version of yourself 3 months from now? Imagine your desired outcome without any limitations.
And what would your ideal self look like one year from now and 5 years from now? When you imagine your desired outcome it is very important to keep in mind your passions and interests and the environment in which you will flourish.
3. Is the Desired Outcome Compelling? (The Big Why?)
So why do you want your desired outcomes? Why else do you want your desired outcomes? Once you achieve your desired outcomes then what will you get to have and to experience? What will that mean to you?
4. Contextualise Your Outcomes
When, where and with whom do you want your desired outcomes?
5. What Are The Steps and Stages?
5.1 Do you know what you need to do to step up to the next best version of yourself?
5.2 Do you have an action plan?
5.3 Do you have a way to monitor your progress?
5.4 Do you know how to deal with the interferences?
5.5 Do you know how to access and mobilise your inner and outer resources?
5.6 Do you know how to build a system to keep you focused on the action steps?
6. Environment
What is the environment in which you would flourish?
7. Checks
When you think about making these life changes do you feel that you are in alignment with your goals? Are your goals compelling? Have you made a decision to make the necessary changes and take action? What will be the evidence that you have taken action towards achieving your outcomes?
8. Blocks And Obstacles
What are the blocks and obstacles which prevent you from taking action to achieve your desired outcomes? What slows you down? What is the mindset – the thoughts and the behaviours which get in the way? What do you need help with?
9. Hacking Flow
Do you use coffee, energy drinks, cigarettes, marijuana, alcohol, gambling, binge eating, sweet foods or junk food as a means to help you make it through the day? What does this cost you in terms of health, money and productivity? How much money do you waste on those bad habits? Daily – weekly, monthly and annually? What would it mean for you if you were to banish those items? What could you do with the money that you save?
10. Mindset
Do you have the mindset – the identity, the attitude, the beliefs, the values, the behaviours, the skill sets - and the structure and systems in your life that will enable you to achieve your desired outcomes?
Are you committed to achieving your desired outcomes? When you think of the possibility that you could achieve your desired outcomes do your eyes widen and does your heart open with a compelling “Yes”?
11. What would it be worth in dollar terms to make progress towards the next best version of yourself?
