Media Training Events - Build confidence in public speaking - develop stage presence and charisma - Gold Coast Australia - learn to become a ferocious and resilient communicator drawing upon tools and techniques from NLP and Neuro Semantics.
For the Media Training Events Hosted by Abby Eagle
In these Media Training Events the aim is to give you an introduction to how you can use the NLP Communication Model to develop charisma and improve your presentation and debating skills.
Week 1.
1. Introduction: When you deliver a presentation or engage with someone in a conversation what is your motivation – and what is your desired outcome?
2. Model out the mindset, language patterns, and presentation skills of the experts. (e.g. Nigel Farage) Get a sense of their identity, values, beliefs and behaviours.
3. Present state to desired outcome model. What do you practice and how do you practice?
4. Elicit your own identity, values, beliefs and behaviours. What do you need to change? What do you need to focus on? What is the environment in which you could practise being the next best version of yourself? What is the environment in which you would flourish?
5. Rapport Skills
6. Values determine every decision we make. Stay-go values. What are the most important away-from or towards values?
7. Binary decisions. Benefits and consequences. Compelling futures. (e.g. what is more important - diversity or unity?)

1. Introduction
2. Questions, statements and commands
3. Types of questions
4. How to answer a question
Week 3.
1. Introduction
2. Framing and reframing (He who sets the frame controls the game. For example, people crossing a border. Asylum seekers, refugees, immigrants, illegal immigrants, undocumented migrants, irregular migration?)
3. Name calling / labels. How to respond?
Week 4.
1 Introduction
2. Hierarchy of ideas
3. Grid in mind – logical levels and types – timeline
4. Track the conversation and maintain rapport.
5. Process versus content
Week 5.
1 Introduction
2. Sentence stems
3. Use quotes
4. Second position shift
5. Attention direction – self or other?
6. Tag questions.
7. Repetition, restating a point.
8. Single words, phrases and clauses, sentences, paragraphs.
9. Voice quality to mark out key words using volume, tonality, tempo, inflection, accent and pauses.
10. Gestures and body language.
Week 6.
1 Introduction
2. Whatever the participants want to focus on.
