COURTSHIP My thoughts are that the essence of flirting is hardwired into our neurology. All living creatures are driven by their sexual energy and all human societies have put systems and structures in place such as marriage and dress codes as a means to control and regulate the expression of the sexual energy. In this painting I wanted to symbolise the flirting between two weird and wonderful characters in a land far far away and free from the constraints of society.
