HEART AND MIND
This artwork is part of a series that are intended to evoke the sense of a raw masculine and feminine energy. We all have a masculine and a feminine energy and express these traits to varying degrees. One tends to be more dominant and obvious to the world while the other may be more of a shadow function that may only be harnessed through a deep exploration of oneself.

TEAMWORK
This artwork reminds me of a parable that I heard years ago. There is a blind man who is fit and strong – and there is another man who has eyes with legs that are not functional. So they decide to team up – and the blind man lifts the man without legs onto his back. They are then able to walk and travel the world together. This parable is a metaphor for the heart and the mind collaborating and working in unison.
