The
New Medicine of Dr Hammer. By Walter Last. The
research of Dr Hammer shows conclusively that cancer is primarily a disease caused
by an emotional shock that the person was unable to resolve. Dr Hammer states
that the current medical model of a carcinogen causing a cancer, which needs to
be destroyed with drugs, radiation or surgery is totally incorrect and antiquated. (Sorry, but the link has changed http://users.mrbean.net.au/~wlast/hamer.html)

You get a new body every year, a new skeleton every three months, a new skin once a month, a new stomach lining every four days, with the actual surface cells that contact food being renewed every five minutes. You get a liver every six weeks. Even the atoms of the brain are different to a year ago. Reference: Quantum Healing: Exploring the Frontiers of Mind/Body Medicine, by Deepak Chopra (Bantam Books, 1990)
The basic concept of mind-body healing is that emotions from past events, and current negative thinking, create a stress configuration in the body restricting nerve and blood supply. To facilitate healing one has to deal with the negative emotions and attitude, and replace them with positive states such as confidence, love, happiness, trust, peace, gratitude and acceptance.

West
Nile Virus - Does it exist? Do germs really
cause disease? There is substantial evidence to show that germs may not be the
cause of disease as is the popular belief. With a number of viral diseases the
virus is only found in about 50% of patients. And in fact the symptoms for poisoning
by vehicle pollution, chemical fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides in many
cases is identical to that of a virus, yet is ignored by the medical establishment
in favour of blaming a sometimes non existent virus.
Stress can trigger virus replication.
Can
meditation reverse heart disease?
In
a study published in the journal Stroke in 2005, 60 African-Americans with hardening
of the arteries practiced meditation over a six to nine month period. (African
Americans were chosen for the study because they suffer from heart disease twice
as much as do whites.) Over the period of the study the meditators showed a significant
decrease in the thickness of their arteries while the non meditators showed an
increase. (Stroke: Effects of Stress Reduction

Meditation
as a treatment for prostrate cancer
"Similar
to breast cancer, studies of people with prostate cancer suggest that melatonin
levels are lower compared to men without cancer, and test tube studies have found
that melatonin inhibits the growth of prostate cancer cells. In one small-scale
study, melatonin (when used in conjunction with conventional medical treatment)
improved survival rates in 9 out of 14 patients with metastatic prostate cancer.
Interestingly, meditation appears to be a valuable addition to the treatment of
prostate cancer. The positive effects of meditation may be due to a rise in levels
of melatonin in the body. " Source: From an article titled 'Melatonin'.
