This gives women the capacity to experience far more pleasurable states than any man can. (Having sexual superiority, one would think that this piece of information would help women to be more compassionate towards men.)
The female sexual organs (clitoris and vagina) are packaged neatly close to the body while the male sexual organs hang from the pelvis. For men there is the constant need to protect their sensitive parts. Not only that but many men feel insecure about the size of their penis. Even though a woman's self esteem may be related to the size of her breasts, their size plays a minor role in the sexual experience, whereas the size of the man's penis plays a significant part in sexual pleasure for the woman, and in some cases for the man too.
While we are on the topic of the man's penis, it should be noted that a man's sexual arousal is more obvious than a woman's, hence a man may sometimes feel the need to hide his sexual arousal, whereas a woman can enjoy hers in secret, if she so wishes. Even though female ejaculation is becoming more common, men have often worried about what to do when they ejaculate, and in some cases where to ejaculate.
Even though a woman can orgasm as soon as she likes and as often as she likes, and even though some men can experience multiple orgasms, the man can only ejaculate once, and as soon as he does he loses sexual interest. Performance anxiety in males is in most cases directly related to the length of time that they are able to have sexual intercourse, before cumming.
Tension around sex may also be related to the fear of catching or transmitting a sexually transmitted disease. Fear of getting pregnant or making a woman pregnant can also be a concern.
Societal and religious conditioning can be a major source of psychological and emotional blocks to having an intensely pleasurable and fulfilling sexual relationship.
Not thinking that the other person finds you attractive or not finding your partner sexually attractive can be an impediment to great sex.
Concerns about body odour, bad breath, flatulence and so on, may cause tension.

How to increase sexual confidence?
Step one to boosting sexual confidence is to clear out all the blocks and obstacles that stop you feeling good about yourself. That means working on yourself in every area of your life, not just on sexual relationships. Your job, where you live, the people you hang out with, your recreational activities all play a part in self confidence. As you increase self confidence in one area of your life then confidence will naturally arise in other areas of your life too.
Get your body in shape so that you feel good about it. You don't need to look like a centre fold model but you do need to look like you take care of yourself.
Eat a healthy diet. I know this might take some research as there are many ideas on what constitutes a healthy diet, but eat what gives you energy. And I don't mean the short term energy that you get from chocolate or coffee but the energy that you get from a simple high protein meal, like grass fed steak. Having good sex takes a lot of energy that is why I suggest eating a traditional diet, and avoiding sugar and carbohydrates. (I remember a woman friend saying, that even though she was a vegetarian her lovers had to be meat eaters.)
Sex is about feelings. The more you clear out the negative feelings from your life and the more that you improve the health of your body through diet and exercise, the more you will be able to tune into your sexual feelings, and amplify them. By the way, the next time that you are feeling sexy, focus in on those feelings and say to yourself, "Let these feelings get stronger... and stronger... and even stronger now... let this feeling begin to spread... and as it does so let the feeling become twice as strong and three times as beautiful now..."
Why is sexual confidence important?
Sex energy is your life energy. The healthier your mind and body, the stronger the sex energy. Those people who have charisma also exude a strong sexual energy. Without the sexual confidence they would not have the charisma. Sexual confidence comes from feeling good about your body, good about having sex, and good about others knowing that you have had sex. There are no inhibitions on the topic. Sexually confident people are able to talk openly about their experiences and their feelings, with anyone.

Think of a time when you experienced the most exquisite pleasurable sensations, a time when you totally let go into beautiful sexual feelings, a time perhaps when the feelings leading up to orgasm began to pulsate through your body... and as you remember that time focus in on those feelings, and as you focus in those feelings, say to yourself, "I want more of these feelings." Unconscious mind turn up these feelings, double these feelings, treble these feelings." and as the feelings get stronger, step all the way back into that memory, all the way back into those feelings, and allow your body to move in the same way that it did then... just relaxing into those feelings... and allowing yourself to dissolve deeper into those feelings... deeper and deeper... noticing that as you do so that your mind becomes quieter... and as you notice the silence, keep your awareness on the silence... dropping deeper into the silence, and as you do so notice that the sexual feelings grow stronger and stronger now... leading you inexorably towards an orgasm... letting go totally into these feelings now... exploring these feelings at an even deeper level... because right now you are learning... and you are learning are you not? And the exploration into your consciousness is a life long process that can be enjoyed in many ways... and I wonder if you realise that the experience of sexual orgasm is similar to that of deep meditation? ...and the only way to discover this, of course, is to experience both deep meditation and an intense sexual orgasm and then compare the states.
What does meditation have to do with sex?
Meditation has everything to do with sex. Meditation itself may have arisen from an interest in what occurred during deep sexual orgasm, and whether it was possible to access that space through other means. Those meditations that focus on the chakra system actually work by stimulating sex energy and shifting its direction from the downward direction that it flows during normal sex to an upwards movement through the chakras.
During orgasm the mind should naturally quieten. The quieter the mind the better the orgasm. Osho says the the experience of deep orgasm arises out of the silence not from a physiological stimulation of the sex organs.
