Read on: You might already be familiar with how to use finger signals or a pendulum to communicate with the unconscious mind but the real skill from using self-hypnosis is knowing how to structure the hypnosis session. For example one type of problem might require that you take a general approach to the healing and give your unconscious mind permission to facilitate the healing. But then a bad habit like smoking or over eating requires a more direct approach. In this case you have to direct the unconscious mind to banish the problem -- but that is still not enough -- because as we know problems like smoking or over eating usually serve the purpose of suppressing a negative emotion and as a way to make you feel good - even if it is only for a few minutes. So if you take away the cigarettes or the food it leaves you feeling vulnerable, and invariably you will back-slide. So what I will show you how to do in this workshop is to build in a resource state. A resource state is a positive feeling like confidence, happiness and joy. We ask the unconscious mind to access the resource state and then amplify it so that it makes you feel real good, and then we make sure that this feeling is available in all those situations where you need it most. Then the bad habit just 'miraculously' disappears. So how am I able to consistently get such profound results? The answer is because I have used the technology of NLP to structure the hypnosis sessions. The old style of hypnosis was pretty good but when you combine it with NLP it becomes awesome.

Cravings for sweet foods banished after a 30 minute self-hypnosis session. "My problem was that after three kids I had begun to stack on the weight and I had constant sugar cravings.
