VISION FOR ABBY EAGLE SCHOOL OF MEDITATION
INTRODUCTION Meditation is not about taking on new dogmas, doctrines or beliefs. Meditation is about learning how to quieten the mind and experience a silent no mind state, then rather than acting out of conditioning, beliefs, memories, knowledge, ritual or thinking one learns to act out of trust and awareness. Then life becomes a celebration. Why meditation may be essential for your success.
PURPOSE To empower people to find an authentic source of peace and happiness within themselves.
Our unique
competitive advantage At Abby Eagle School of Meditation you will learn the actual structure of meditation. You will learn how to quieten the internal dialogue and reach deeper states of meditation faster than with traditional techniques.
IDENTITY Abby Eagle is an Osho Zen Sannyasin since 1984. Abby Eagle School of Meditation was registered as a business name by Abby Eagle on 16/05/2007. The vision, identity and the core focus of the meditation school is provided by Abby Eagle
VISION My current feeling is to create a Gold Coast health resort type development. A two to three story building which houses a gymnasium, swimming pool, classes in Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates, Chi Kung, massage, NLP, hypnosis, naturopathy etc. Cafe, restaurant , book shop and a small cinema. There should be one main auditorium to seat 500 people plus a number of smaller rooms where the Yoga, Tai Chi, classes etc will be held. There could be a number of rooms to house guests. The concept needs to be attractive enough to generate regular customers. It also needs to be close enough to the Gold Coast CBD so that people do not feel they are leaving town. People should be able to come here to work on their health - physical, emotional and mental and leave feeling renewed, refreshed and energised.
The following values are important to Abby Eagle School of Meditation:
In working with people we value :
ATTITUDE To create an environment which nurtures the process of self discovery.
BELIEFS All humans have a consciousness which is naturally evolving. When the consciousness flowers we call it enlightenment. Different traditions use different names to denote the flowering of consciousness. Zen talks of Truth, Enlightenment and Buddha Nature; Buddhists talk of Nirvana; Jains talk of Moksha; Christians talk of the Kingdom of God; Hindus talk of Self Realisation and the Bauls talk of the Essential Man. There are many examples throughout history of people whose consciousness has flowered: Jesus, Buddha, Mahavira, Osho, Chuang Tzu, Bhodidarma, Ramakrishna, etc. Enlightenment is everyone's birth right and given enough will happen to everyone, albeit many lives. Enlightenment is possible in this life time. To increase the possibility of enlightenment one needs to make effort. There are NLP (and other) techniques that make profound change possible with even a small amount of effort and awareness.
CAPABILITIES With a team of committed people it is going to be possible to build a network of meditation schools around Australia.
